That's right… the Tiger has been unleased and it will be on you before you know it!

I really do hate my PC now!  I did a drag and drop action with a
folder full of all the pictures that I have ever taken with my digital
camera for my wife's cake business tonight.  I dropped it on the
target directory, but when I click on the directory where the cake
photos are stored, it says access is denied. 

I did used the Windows disk check utility to see if it might fix any
issues, but that did not do the trick.  Unfortunately, it looks
like these puppies are in the old bit bucket in the sky. 

I think I am going to purchase that new Mac sooner than I thought.

I am a long-time PC user.  I have developed software on PCs for
the last 16 years at the same company.  I have recently decided
that I am going to purchase my first Mac for my home.

I have about decided on the Apple Power Mac G5.  I will probably wait a
couple of weeks, though, because it is rumored that Apple will be
announcing their new Power Mac lineup next week at the National
Association of Broadcasters (NAB).

Hopefully they will do just that and the 2 GHz dual G5 systems will
come down slightly in price so I can get one of them.  Otherwise,
I will go with the 1.8 GHz dual G5 systems. 

I still have my old blog over at Kerry's Abend, but I have created the new site here at MyBlogSite so I can post pictures and other things of the sort.
