Apple software update debacle
Apple released Security Update 2005-007 on Monday. It supposedly fixed over 40 security issues in OS X. Unfortunately, we have started hearing reports that along with the security fixes, this security update breaks 64 bit application support in the operating system. (see AppleInsider's report)
After recognizing this issue and supposedly pulling the patch and saying that an updated patch would be available within a few days, the bad patch update is still available on Apple's download site and via Software Update tonight.
